I have been waiting, hoping, and praying for some time now that the parish priest (and then, if needed, diocesan dean and diocesan bishop) of some of the most offensive "Orthodox Christian" blog authors and posters would speak to their spiritual children and guide them from their path of darkness. There is much speech out there re our OCA that is not Christian, let alone untrue and divisive. Yes, speech is "free," but as Christians not everything is permissible. I wish our Holy Synod has spoken on this topic.

Is there an elephant or two in the room, i.e. old scandals not resolved, rumors not put to rest. Yes. How can our Holy Synod deal with this? To read all that is specious and scandalous on the internet could take more than a lifetime. Look at just the "main" battling websites? Perhaps.

Lord have mercy!

Amen, Amen, Amen!

The leadership of the Church, including the entire Holy Synod cannot ignore the lies, falsehoods, and wild conspiracy theories being spread by those who continue to support Robert Kondratick and his co-horts. Many of them are actively working to re-write history and rehabilitate a man who was shown to be an abusive, deceitful, and unethical operator. With the help of discredited operators like "Monk James", retired Bishop Tikhon (Fitzgerald), and several other anonymous posters, these individuals are accusing the entire Holy Synod of the OCA and all the professionals who worked on and created the SIC Report of a "conspiracy" to falsely accuse Robert Kondratick of malfesance and abuses he was not guilty of.

The most outrageous claims and comments can be seen on this thread:
